Two new games made the list of Xbox One backward compatible titles. And they’re magnificent.
Both Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty HD and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater HD are now officially playable on the Xbox One and Xbox One X. If you have the physical copy of legendary titles, you can plug them into your console and start another epic espionage adventure. Both games were released as a set as part of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, which was released in 2011.
A tweet by Larry Hryb “The Xbox Guy” sparked the news:

This set is the second HD collection released by Konami that made the Xbox One backward compatibility list within the past few months. The other collection was the Silent Hill HD Collection which becomes available for backward compatible play back in July.
Now that Konami has two sets of HD collections available on the Xbox One, players can get those nostalgic feels once again. And for players who’ve never played- you now have a chance to redeem yourself on playing Konami’s top-tier games.
You can see the full list of backward compatible games here.
Funny how this news comes out just after yesterday when Solid Snake (David Hayter) told Vinny of Vinesauce to “squeeze my hog.”

I specialize in indie games as I think they don’t get the attention they deserve. I’m just your typical consumer who has some opinions to share. I’ve been reviewing games since I was 12. I started out reviewing them with friends on old forums that now no longer exist. Then I went to online VoDs, which I’ve lost interest in.
And now I’m here to deliver my thoughts in written format!
