Resident Evil 5 and 6 coming to the Switch this October, pricing and details

Resident Evil 5 and 6 are coming to the Nintendo Switch on 10/29.

As Capcom continues to re-release all the older Resident Evil games onto modern day consoles, players who missed out on previous titles will now be able to see the scares that made the series what it is today.

Resident Evil 5 and 6 will both be available coming this October for the Switch. The first legacy releases, Resident Evil and RE: 4 were rolled out over time, and now we’re getting two of the series’ later titles so we can once again relish in the scares.

RE5 released back in 2009 and has our everyday hero Chris Redfield and his partner Sheva Alomar over in Africa with locals and zombies. This was actually a co-op game for two players to work together as they make their way through the storyline.

RE6 was a game that was released in 2012 and also have a co-op mode with longtime characters coming together. You’ll be able to take control as Redfield, Kennedy, and more. This title in particular I’ve never actually got to play, so even with all the negative reviews about it, I’ll be able to judge that myself.

The Switch is still missing many titles from its library from the Resident Evil series, and we can expect them to come in the near future.

Resident Evil 5 and 6 will both launch on October 29 this year for a price of $29.99 each, or together for $59.99 which has both RE5 and 6 alongside RE4.
