Axis and Allies 1942 Online will be coming to Steam Early Access this week on Wednesday.
This game is none other than a digital adaptation of the classic Axis and Allies board game that allows you to play as the UK, US, JP, Germany, and Soviet Union during WWII.
Although the boardgame has been out for ages now, this will be the first time a digital adaptation of it. Players will be able to choose their faction and play with up to 5 players online, whether by bot or human.
As with any modern TBS, the game will be a map-based game with resource management and commanding your army during the 1942 wartimes. The game features asynchronous gameplay with custom defense profiles, online play, and a 20 minute OST.
There will also be single player offline modes with hotseat play.
The game will be released on Steam for PC on early access this week, published and developed by Beamdog. Here’s the Steam page.

Writer and journalist for almost a year. Doing this for fun. Learned a lot along the way. I’m interested in businesses and the moves they make, tech and how it changes the world, and of course, enjoy playing some video games! I enjoy console and PC, but mostly RPGs, FPS, and League of Legends.
