MLB The Show 20 will launch next month in beta on 1/14.
The official beta signups for the game have now gone live, as Sony opened up the gates for early beta testers.
You can sign up for the closed beta using your PSN account. The signup is limited to a specific number of entries, so signing up doesn’t mean you’ll get access.
There are currently a few game modes you can test out during the beta, such as Battle Royale, Events, and Play with Friends.
Progress will not carry over to the full game. The beta period will take place from 1/14 – 1/20. The full game releases 3/17 for the PlayStation exclusively at first, and then will come out on Xbox One and Switch.
Sony has a partnership that allows them early access rights to MLB games, thus the game comes out first for Sony consoles.
You can sign up for the closed beta on MLB The Show.

I specialize in indie games as I think they don’t get the attention they deserve. I’m just your typical consumer who has some opinions to share. I’ve been reviewing games since I was 12. I started out reviewing them with friends on old forums that now no longer exist. Then I went to online VoDs, which I’ve lost interest in.
And now I’m here to deliver my thoughts in written format!
