There will be some The Last of Us: Part 2 news speculated to drop this week.
Rumor has it we’ll be hearing some news regarding the following part to The Last of Us sometime this week alongside a new trailer.
Naughty Dog will be revealing some juicy details about this game, which many have been waiting for quite some time now.
Two sites, Gamereactor and Legion de Jugadores have reported that The Last of Us: Part 2 will be getting a new trailer dropped this week and a working release date. The fidelity of the news is still up in the air.
Although both sites are translated to English, we can roughly see that they’re citing a source “close to Sony” but both haven’t been able to provide proof regarding this new trailer and release date are due.
Possibly they both got their details from the same source, as they both can’t validate any details at this point.
However, Sony will likely be making some game reveals this upcoming week, so it wouldn’t be too far-fetched if Naughty Dog comes out and gives us some details about Part 2. We’ll probably hear about this during the State of Play stream.
Given that Sony won’t be at E3 this year, they’ll have to reveal their news using other outlets.
This may be what they plan to do- use tidbits of details here and there during their streams for the rest of the year. State of Play makes the most sense, as they reveal many upcoming games already and cover Sony news.
