Pokemon Sword and Shield to be revealed at Pokemon Direct

Pokemon Sword and Shield will be discussed through Pokemon Direct, coming next week.

Nintendo posted some details on Twitter today that they’ll be releasing more details about their upcoming game Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Pokemon Direct will take place next week and will answer some questions fans have been asking regarding the new game. This takes place next week on June 5 at 9AM PDT.

There will also be a press conference on May 28th this week, talking about the strategy of Pokemon games this year.

We’ll likely get a new trailer for the game and some real gameplay footage, and possibly some new rivals and champions that we’ll be meeting throughout the game.

So far, we don’t know much about the game other than the new region and starter pokemon.

Considering that Nintendo will be releasing the news about the game before E3, this means that they likely won’t be discussing much about the game during their actual panel.

There’s no reason to waste valuable time showing off the same game twice for Nintendo, as they probably have a lot planned for E3, given that Sony is out of the picture.

Pokemon Sword and Shield is the 8th generation of Pokemon and will be released on the Switch later this year.
