Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has released details about its new operator and the new Operation Absolute Zero DLC.
The game’s first ever DLC will come with a new specialist named Zero. She’s a hacker that uses her abilities to distract players during multiplayer matchups. Activision announced the news and has released cover art which features her on the front page.
New weapons such as the Daemon 3XB SMG, SWAT RFT AR, and a Secret Santa melee weapon will also be added alongside a few others. Blackout will also be getting some changes such as the visual effects of winter and a new location called Hijack. A new vehicle called the ARAV armored vehicle will also be added. Specialists Zero and the Gladiators from Zombies with both unlockables for Blackout. The usual balance changes for Blackout will take place, mainly with the Spitfire and SDM with damage nerfs.
The Zombies mode will also be getting a tier-leveling system and a tracking system to track player achievements such as kills and elixirs created with stamps. The stamps can be shown off with the Black Ops Authenticity Stamp system and players can also earn tiers for the Black Market through Zombies. Players can earn new weapons, warpaint, specialists, gear, and other equipment through this system. The Tier showcase has been reduced from 200 down to 100.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has been praised for its Blackout mode and has recently released a Battle Edition that just includes Blackout and Multiplayer with an optional Zombies add-on for those looking for a cheaper way to play. The DLC Absolute Zero will roll out December 11. You can pick up Black Ops for Xbox One, PC, and PS4 on Amazon or Battle.net for the Battle Edition of the game.
