Apex Legends has had an awesome track record so far since launch day.
It’s the game that no one expected but took the world by storm. So far, it has one robot that can appeal to everyone- Pathfinder. But ever since launch, fans of the game have been asking film director Neill Blomkamp for his own robot creation, Chappie, would ever make it to the game.
He said that lots of people were asking him about this, and he finally tweeted that he’s “down” for it.
The Respawn’s CEO Vince Zampella came out and also said he’s “down.”
I am also down.

Of course, this instantly went viral and now Chappie from the star of theĀ 2015 film Apex Legends could make an appearanceĀ in the game. This doesn’t mean it’ll actually happen, as both sides have people wanting a piece of the action- Sony’s Columbia Pictures is one of them.
But this could be the start of something awesome between the two parties. Chappie’s creator already has a good thing with EA and created an animated trailer for Anthem. Plus his art style is on-par with Apex Legends, so the culture shock wouldn’t be a problem.

I specialize in indie games as I think they don’t get the attention they deserve. I’m just your typical consumer who has some opinions to share. I’ve been reviewing games since I was 12. I started out reviewing them with friends on old forums that now no longer exist. Then I went to online VoDs, which I’ve lost interest in.
