Borderlands 3 has completed development

Borderlands 3 has finished development and has “gone gold” according to Gearbox, which means that the game will now be printed on the press.

They announced the news today on Twitter to let all the fans know.

Borderlands 3 will be the latest entry to the Borderlands series since 2012. The game will have plenty of post-launch content planned after launch.

2K and Gearbox revealed the game in May and that’s when the game was first playable by attendees.

The game won’t have a complicated storyline that pulls from previous titles, and will be playable by anyone who’s picking it up for the first time.

FL4K will be the new character and we don’t know a lot about the character yet. Zane will be the other one, who had a trailer released yesterday.

They’ll probably release more details about the characters as we approach the launch date for September.

You can pre-order Borderlands 3 on Amazon now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Note that the PC version will be only available on the Epic Games Store. There will also be a Stadia version.
