Metal Gear Solid series creator Hideo Kojima posts a throwback picture on his Twitter account to Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. The game received mixed reviews from critics, but I think it was pretty cool how you could play as both Solid Snake and Raiden by switching back and forth.
Kojima posted a picture featuring the same pose used in the game on the Hudson River. It’s Kojima holding a cigarette wearing a navy blue hooded jacket while on a bridge. While this may seem like he’s copying a pose from the game, it’s more of a tribute to the series. He’s on the George Washington Bridge, which is where Metal Gear Solid 2 begins. Solid Snake also wears a hood while smoking a cigarette.

Although there’s no caption for this tweet, fans have gone wild with speculations. Could this be the meeting place for Kojima and Kanye? Or is it a promotion for his upcoming game Death Stranding?
Kojima still has the MGS vibes flowing through him as clearly depicted by the tweet. Today is also the third year since Kojima Studios has been established, which could be the only reason for the tweet.
Writer and journalist for almost a year. Doing this for fun. Learned a lot along the way. I’m interested in businesses and the moves they make, tech and how it changes the world, and of course, enjoy playing some video games! I enjoy console and PC, but mostly RPGs, FPS, and League of Legends.
