June 12 brings us City Connection, Double Dragon, and Volleyball to Nintendo Switch Online

Nintendo Switch Online’s new lineup of games has been announced for June.

Let’s see what we have in store.

First up is Double Dragon II: The Revenge. This is a side scroller beat ’em up game that was only made popular to me from the likes of the Angry Video Game Nerd.

The game features old-school pixel art (since it is an old game) where you’ll fight gangs, ninjas, and other enemies as you make your way through various hideouts and zones. From the list of games, this is probably the only one I’m really excited about.

Next up is Volleyball. As generic as the name sounds, you get what you asked for. It’s volleyball.

Last up is City Connection. This one’s quite interesting as you play as a robber who broke into a paint store in NYC.

Then you need to escape from the cops as you carry cans of paint dripping all over the freeways before you board ship to England. Then you get to tour the entire world as you leave a trail of paint behind you.

The three NES Classic library of games will be added to the online store and are free to download for any Nintendo Switch Online subscriber.

These games will be released on June 12 next week:
