Yesterday’s rumor of a new Ghost Recon game now has confirmation.
Ubisoft will be revealing the official news tomorrow as to which Ghost Recon game it’ll actually be, but fans are already speculating that the game will be Ghost Recon: Breakpoint.
This was due to a leak from an image collector’s edition for Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, which appeared briefly online before it was taken down. The image was on the German Ubisoft game store for a period of time, then it got removed.
Breakpoint speculation assumes that the game will continue Ghost Recon Wildlands, with the latest content update Operation Oracle. This content update sends your squad on a new rescue mission for a Skell Tech engineer who’s held hostage by Unidad.
Although this is a new operation, it’s not normal to the game’s previous missions by any means. A character named Cole D. Walker, who’s a Ghost Team Leader takes a role in the content update.
Skell Tech deals with drones and other advanced technology. Fan speculation says that Ghost Recon: Breakpoint will deal with futuristic and advanced gadgets and weaponry.
Ubisoft will reveal the new Ghost Recon tomorrow at 11:30AM PDT (2:30PM EDT). With the game being pulled so quickly, we’re pretty sure that they’ve already spilled the beans.

I specialize in indie games as I think they don’t get the attention they deserve. I’m just your typical consumer who has some opinions to share. I’ve been reviewing games since I was 12. I started out reviewing them with friends on old forums that now no longer exist. Then I went to online VoDs, which I’ve lost interest in.
