Phantasy Star Online 2 coming to PC and Xbox One, details

Welp, it’s here. Phantasy Star Online 2 will be coming to the PC and Xbox One.

After many years of waiting since the original launch back in 2012, Sega has finally decided to bring Phantasy Star Online 2 to the US.

The game is planned for release in Spring 2020 on PC and Xbox One. This was announced during the E3 conference.

While most of us didn’t expect this, those who’ve been waiting to get their slice of PSO2 will finally be able to rejoice.

The game will be cross-platform between PC and Xbox One. Only these two platforms are officially supported here in the west, as this is a deal between Microsoft and Sega.

Nintendo and Sony won’t be part of this party.

Sega released a trailer to show off the opening intro for each PSO2’s episodes. There will be all the content and updates currently available on the JP version, which currently is at Ep. 6.

PSO2 is pretty much as addicting as gangbusters, and players who have played the first one will understand. The game is F2P after you buy it, and it’s a blast to play with friends.

Personally, I’ve racked up over 2000 hours on the PSO for the OG Xbox, and I’ll be picking up this title no matter how bad it flops. I don’t care if I’m the only one online. It’s freakin’ Phantasy Star.
