PlayStation Plus gives us Detroit: Become Human and Heavy Rain during a last-minute swap

Sony has decided to change up one of the free games for July.

Rather than throwing out Pro Evolution Soccer 2019, which probably only appears to a small niche of players, members will be getting Detroit: Become Human. The swap is obviously in favor for the masses, as the new substitution is a lot more popular than Pro Evolution Soccer.

Players will be getting Detroit: Become Human for free and they’ll be getting Heavy Rain for free included. This is because players will receive the digital deluxe edition of the game.

The statement regarding this swap just came out a few hours before the free games went live on PlayStation. They’ll be free until August 6 and any PS subscriber can pick up both these titles for free.

Quantic Dream’s Horizon Turbo Chase will also be part of the trio, so players will be blessed with the moody and epic storytelling that is Quantic Dream games.

PlayStation’s official word on the matter:

“This month, we are adding Detroit: Become Human Digital Deluxe Edition, which also includes Heavy Rain, to the July games lineup instead of Pro Evolution Soccer 2019. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
