The Walking Dead: The Final Season Ep. 3 trailer released

The Walking Dead: The Final Season has released a new trailer for the third and final episode for the series.

Back in September 2018, Telltale Games fired 250 staff members and started the process of shutting down the company. They held onto a skeletal staff, which was then fired soon afterward. The studio was best known for their story-driven games such as Minecraft: Story Mode and The Walking Dead. They were working on the latter amidst the shutdown.

Fans were perplexed and confused. And a lot were wondering what would happen to the game they were working on.

After some period of confusion, Telltale annouced that they would release the rights to be completed by another company.

Later on, Skybound Games picked up the game and continued development of the final project and even hired some of the fired staff members to keep the same developers creating the game. They’ve now released the third and final episode of the game and the accompanying trailer, which shows the dark side of Clementine and Lee’s return to the series.

The team, named “Still Not Bitten” has been working to complete the game and end the series correctly. Episode 3 was first announced during the Kinda Funny Games Showcase and fans have been waiting since then. The newest episode won’t have Telltale’s branding and will launch on January 15, titled “Broken Toys.”

The Walking Dead: The Final Season is available for PC, Xbox One, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch.
