A new mod for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will let you team up with a friend and play through the adventure together.
TLoZ: OoT has been a fan-favorite for decades now and is one of the best videogames ever made- of all time. The game was revolutionary for the N64, 3D graphics, and an RPG that many will never forget. People are still speedrunning this game even today. There’s no argument that it was one of the best-selling and highest-rated ever made in videogame history.
A mod called OoT Online premiered today. The mod was being developed since last year with just a few developers creating it. The mod lets players play the classic game with friends. Currently, the mod just supports two-player co-op mode right but there are plans to add up to 15 players later on. Whether or not this sounds like too many players turning the legendary RPG into a Zelda MMO, this is still awesome.
The mod currently has a few PvE mechanics and later the team plans to add a PvP mode also. The other characters are exact clones of you- there will be other Links running around Hyrule Field, so it’ll really feel like a Zelda MMO of sorts.
