Epic Games is now offering a full copy of Rime for free for a limited time.
As you probably know by now, Epic Games has been giving out a premium title every two weeks since launch. This rotation has Rime, currently available for the next two weeks, until 5/30.
Epic has been offering new and free games on their store every two weeks and hasn’t failed yet to deliver. They advertise the games they’ll be throwing out for free ahead of time, so players will be able to see what they’re getting.
Right now, you can grab of copy of Rime, the indie exploration game, for absolutely nothing. Rime (aka RiME) is an adventure puzzle game developed by Tequila Works. The game basically has you playing as a small boy who’s looking for various objects in environmental puzzles. He’s guided by a animal resembling a fox to help assist.
The game has generated positive reviews from various critics around the web, and definitely is worth picking up, specifically for free. Again, you can get Rime for free for the next two weeks.
After that, they’ll be offering City of Brass will be next, starting on 5/30. This game was made by a team of Bioshock developers and will also be free after Rime.
Whether you like Epic Games’ anti-consumerism or not, free is free. For those looking to grab some free games to burn some hours, you can pick up Rime for free right now on Epic.
