Treyarch has just released a new trailer earlier today that shows off the new Reaper in Black Ops 4.
The first major free content update was released last week for all players. Treyarch also released exclusive content catered specifically for players holding the Black Ops Pass, which is pretty much just a more confusing way to say “season pass” for BO4. The new content came with a returning character from Blackout: Reaper, which some fans may recognize from Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
Today, they released a new trailer showing off the Reaper for all to see.
Although it’s a whole week later, they did release a trailer to demo all the new content that they’ve recently dumped on the game- everything from free content updates to exclusive content for Pass owners to the launch of their first major DLC (Operation AbsoluteĀ Zero). They’ve been very busy lately. This was tweeted on their official Call of Duty account:

Because Reaper is a Blackout character, he doesn’t come with special abilities or equipment because Blackout is all about “fairness” and “skill.” It’s pretty much just a skin for the game mode, albeit a cool one with all its robotic shiny pieces and such. The trailer shows off Reaper blowing up a helicopter and other players (you can watch it via the tweet).
Again, Reaper is exclusive to Black Ops Pass holders and only available for use in Blackout mode. You can’t use him as a specialist in the Multiplayer mode. Whether or not he’ll ever get introduced to the other modes is still in the air right now, but it would make sense to do so since he’s quite a detailed character.
Black Ops 4 is available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You can pick up a copy on Amazon. Treyarch has been working hard to update the game with plenty of content before their winter break to keep players busy.

I specialize in indie games as I think they don’t get the attention they deserve. I’m just your typical consumer who has some opinions to share. I’ve been reviewing games since I was 12. I started out reviewing them with friends on old forums that now no longer exist. Then I went to online VoDs, which I’ve lost interest in.
