Black Ops 4 update V1.10 brings free skins, custom Blackout matches

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has received its promised content update which adds a bunch of new features to the game.

Namely, Black Ops 4 now gets free skins, custom Blackout matches, and balance changes. Treyarch has been releasing so much content for the game now that I’m almost sick of writing about it. They’ve pushed out major content updates for free for all players, Reaper, content exclusive to Black Ops Pass owners, Operation Absolute Zero DLC, and now they’ve released custom battle royale modes (probably their answer to Fortnite). Treyarch is working hard to please the community.

Previous weeks seemed to focus on Zombies, which is okay because it’s kind of broken, today’s update seems to be focused on Multiplayer and Blackout. Players can create their own Blackout games with 11 other players. All specialist skins have been unlocked for anyone to use. And if you complete their character missions, this will get you a new “Numbers” outfit for that character which can be used in Multiplayer and Blackout.

Zero, the new girl in the newest DLC, also finally got that nerf that was announced yesterday. Now she’ll take an increased amount of time to earn the Ice Pick hacking ability. There’s also an increased time required to hack UAV, Counter UAV, and Care Packages. For Drone Squads, Gunships, and Attack Choppers, it’ll take even more time. This should balance out the game just a tad.

The V1.10 update also introduced a new intro trailer, Half Off Heist mode variant, and the Ultimus Richtofen to the Black Market. You can see all the changes for V1.10 in the full patch notes.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is currently available for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. You can buy it on Amazon here.
