Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 update 1.11 – What’s new?

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has been updated to version 1.11, which sports a host of welcome changes to the popular signature series.

The last major update was quite some time ago, but Black Ops 4 shouldn’t be too antsy given Treyarch’s update craze during the month of December. They updated the game with free content for all players, content for Black Ops Pass holders, Operation Absolute Zero DLC, and a few regular scheduled updates- one of them being for a winter map.

Now, the latest major update is here. V1.11 for BO4 covers a bunch of new bug fixes and features.

For starters, the previously annouced Blackout looting system and Gauntlets game mode for Zombies and the standard Multiplayer mode got a new addition called Chaos Control. This grants each team with unlimited lives and a time increase for each capture zone. There’s also a longer time limit added to each mode so players can really go all out.

These new additions don’t really do much for me, but keeps the game interesting and Treyarch is probably just testing out some experimental features to see what players want. They do keep the ga

Zombies mode also has a few new elixirs and a Perk Up addition which gives you up to 4 extra perks that aren’t utilized in your current loadout. Conflageration Liquidation spawns a new Bonfire Sale power which brings down the price of Pack-A-Punch machine to just 1K points. Refresh Mint gives you faster equipment regen time. So the new elixers are definitely handy and will bring in some new player strats.

Other than those new updates to the game, there are also a ton of bug fixes and changes in V1.11. You can see the full list here.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is the latest entry to the long-running Black Ops series. You can pick up a copy of the game on Amazon for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
