Treyarch hints Zombies planning holiday surprise in Black Ops 4

Treyarch has been on a roll lately with all their content updates and the release of their first major DLC, Operation Absolute Zero.

But now it seems like Treyarch has started teasing something that’ll be coming to the Black Ops title soon enough. Specifically, it’ll do with the Blackout mode and Zombies. Can you guess what it is?

If you like Zombies and you like Blackout, then things will be pretty awesome in the next few days. Treyarch posted a tweet teasing the fate of the Zombies in Blackout and the undead spawn in it. They seem to have disappeared, but then again, they may be congregating something for the upcoming holidays.

Right now, the battle royale mode has no zombies at all at any of the possible spawn points around the map. You can drop in Asylum, Lighthouse, Rivertown, and Nuketown Island with no zombies roaming around. We already got snowballs, what’s next? Zombie with a Christmas theme? Candy cane batons? Present grenades? We’ll have to wait and see.

Treyarch is also hinting that a new overlay may also be coming to the in-game map. They mentioned that it’s “cold out there” so they may be talking about another overlay for the game.

It’s a good time to be a Call of Duty fan. Treyarch has been delivering the goods nonstop for the past month. Black Ops 4 is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. You can grab a copy on Amazon.
