id and Bethesda are teaming up for the Year of DOOM in 2019. With the 2016 release already being “old,” the Switch version’s update adds some new features for Switch owners. And for those who haven’t played it yet, it’s a good chance to buy it and experience the run-and-gun Rambo-style alien blaster.
The game was released just last year for the Nintendo Switch by Panic Button and has some excsluvei features just for the Switch to take advantage of the game’s portability.
Although the Switch version isn’t exactly “pretty” compared to the PC and its bigger brothers, the update will give players who’ve been wanting to play the game on Switch since it was released something to brag about.
DOOM is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. You can pick up a copy on Amazon. DOOM Eternal will also be released for the same platforms and is currently in development. There hasn’t been any news on a confirmed release date yet, but we can speculate it’ll be next year since it is the Year of DOOM, after all. Fans should be stoked.

Writer and journalist for almost a year. Doing this for fun. Learned a lot along the way. I’m interested in businesses and the moves they make, tech and how it changes the world, and of course, enjoy playing some video games! I enjoy console and PC, but mostly RPGs, FPS, and League of Legends.
