New Fallout placeholder spotted on Amazon – Remake or Fallout 5?

Bethesda was found to have a placeholder on Amazon for an upcoming game. The listing had a Fallout-style countdown timer.

Uh oh- have they done it again? Probably not. Bethesda seems to be getting their act together after the disaster that was Fallout 76. They’ve released a Fallout 76 roadmap with the Wild Appalachia update. And they’re seeming to be turning around from their new ways and going back to the company we all know and adore.

An Amazon product was found by Wario64 who prompoly posted this finding on Twitter. The game’s mysterious listing includes a standard, deluxe, and even a collector’s edition¬†with the option to pre-order the game. The game will be avaelble for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

At this point, there’s no confirmed pricing or release date. Speculations say it may be a remaster of Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas- given that the game will be a collector’s edition. Either one would be awesome and players will likely jump back into buying from Bethesda again even after Fallout 76’s disaster.

Bethesda is known for not telling what it has in store until it’s ready to make a reveal, so who knows what this game can be? All we know is that it’s a Bethesda game that has something to do with the Fallout series and will probably be a remake/remaster of an original series. Or it could very well be Fallout 5. Who knows?

Either way, it’s nice to see them moving on from their current experiment and continuing with the series. We’ll have to keep watch on any news from them soon because this will be a bold move after their Fallout 76.

Stay tuned for updates.
