Black Ops 4 double Merit weekend now live

Black Ops 4 will be having double Merits this weekend in Blackout Mode.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has enabled double Merits just for this weekend. If you’re in need of a few levels, this would be the perfect opportunity to get some. Operation Grand Heist will be one of the last events for this season, and Treyarch has activated extra Merits for all players who play Blackout.

This isn’t the first time they’ve done so, so if you’re familiar with double Merits, you know how it works. Similar to double XP, but Blackout uses Merits, not XP. Therefore, the more kills you get, it’ll affect your match placement, rank, and Merit points. You can now get double Merits earned from the Merit system.

As with any other double Merit event, this will last until Monday. You don’t need to do anything special- just start up a game of Blackout. Multiplayer and Zombies don’t have the promotion, so it’s Blackout only.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has received regular content updates from Treyarch and is one of the most popular battle royale games right now. If you’ve been thinking of picking up this game, you can grab it on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on Amazon.
