Call of Duty's Shamrock update will have new gear and events for players.

Black Ops 4 gets St. Patrick’s Day update – New gear, modes, and minigames

Treyarch is pushing out a new update with new content and events for Black Ops 4 tomorrow.

They’ve been really adding content nonstop to the game since inception. For every major holiday so far, they’ve done something to the game to celebrate with the players. And tomorrow, they’ve announced the next update for the game and gave a snippet of what fans can expect.

First is Shamrock and Awe, which is a new St. Patrick’s Day mini-event that’ll add new gear, weapons, and cosmetics. The event isn’t new to the game, as it’s been part of the last few CoD games and will be the event of the month here on Black Ops 4. The multiplayer mode will also get a new weather variation for Contraband called Hurricane, which as many would expect, deals with rain, sleet, and snow on the beachside. There will also be a new game mode called Stockpile where players will play a reimagination of Fracture from Black Ops 3- this is a throwback to their previous entry.

Some other major updates will be added to the game such as Blackout’s Hardcore mode and a new map update also. However, one thing to note is that Treyarch has been pushing out updates nonstop, so don’t expect a whole lot from this update other than gear, cosmetics, and some events.

Patch notes are yet to be released, so stay tuned for updates when the update hits. For players who are still playing BO, this update will keep the game fresh until the next one drops.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is currently available for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. And if you look for it, you can grab the game for cheap.
