The Elder Scrolls: Blades will have beta and early access events

The Elder Scrolls: Blades is scheduled to have a closed beta coming sometime this spring.

The game was announced during E3 last year, and it’s that the Elder Scrolls blades will be the first game from the series to be released on mobile platforms. The game has only been previewed a few times with some short footage and screenshots here and there, but besides that nothing else has been revealed. We saw a little bit at E3, and at Apple’s keynote, but that’s about it.

While we’re also going to see the next Elder Scrolls game that’s not on a mobile device, this is something that mobile gamers will enjoy. So think of this as just an extra Elder Scrolls.

The game is planned to have early access alongside the beta according to the game’s site. They will be two separate events and both will include the entire game available for all players. While the beta didn’t have an official time frame, early access will be scheduled sometime this spring and Bethesda will keep players updated as we approach the scheduled date. Although we don’t know a specific day, we can be sure that they’ll release more details as we get closer to the confirmed date.

The beta will be available only on iOS. The Early Access will be available for both iOS and Android. And all progress made alongside purchases during both events will carry over to the final game when it finally launches. It was also a list of mobile devices that were supported by the game which you can check out here. You can also sign up for early access here.

Well, mobile gaming is taking off, but a lot of players are still not ready to jump on the bandwagon. When Blizzard announced that the new Diablo game would be for mobile devices, a lot of fans already started hating on it. Although they also said that they had other Diablo projects in the works, fans were still not pleased with the mobile version. We’re not sure if that’ll happen with Elder Scrolls, because they plan to have Elder Scrolls 6 alongside this mobile version, so both demographics can be pleased.

Regardless, stay tuned for updates. We’ll let you know when we get a solid date for the beta and early access for Elder Scrolls: Blades.
