Fortnite (V.6.30) Week 9 loading screens leaked; A.I.M skin is the hunter

Fortnite (V.6.30) Week 9 loading screens leaked; A.I.M skin is the hunter 1

Fortnite’s V.6.30 update released today, November 14, shows some new data for the Week 9 Hunting Party. This new update featured the official release of the Mounted Turret and the Food Fight LTM.

Data miners have already uncovered the Hunting Party loading screen by completing challenges that took place throughout Season 6. The challenges are the extra ones like the Blockbuster and Road Trip challenges that spanned over the the current and previous season. Players who complete all 7 weeks worth of challenges got the A.I.M robot skin as a special reward.

Right now, data miners have dug up the Week 8 loading screen and leaked it. It features the A.I.M skin who appears to be using a handheld map to look for something specific. The Week 9 loading screen features the same character with a Calamity skin and another character. The Calamity skin is in a nature field enjoying some the scenery while the A.I.M skin is standing in the background, seemingly plotting something at the Calamity skin and the other character- who happens to be saluting the sunset. You can see it below:

Fortnite (V.6.30) Week 9 loading screens leaked; A.I.M skin is the hunter 2

While A.I.M is clearly in view through a gap in the foliage, we can’t tell exactly what he’s doing. Is he hunting these two characters enjoying the scenery? Or is it the other way around? With a leaked loading screen like this, we can only assume for now. But common sense says that A.I.M is the bad guy and he’ll be here to take down Calamity and her friend. You can clearly see that A.I.M is carrying something while appearing to be “hunting” for someone or something. And there are only two other characters in the loading screen, so it’s safe to assume who’s the prey and predator, right?

A.I.M could actually be the “bad guy” who’s hunting the two characters. This would kind of give way tot he Hunting Party titles for the S6 challenges and make a lot of sense. The “Hunting Party” title would imply that A.I.M is hunting Calamity, but he’s not a party. He’s just one dude. So then who’s the “party” in “Hunting Party?”

Fornite’s V6.22 leaked new vehicle may just be the A.I.M skin

Fornite's V6.22 leaked new vehicle may just be the A.I.M skin 3

The A.I.M skin that’s given as a reward to Fortnite players who’ve completed a whole seven week’s worth of S6 characters just launched today. The skin is regarded as a Legendary skin and was released just before the Week 7 Challenges rolled out.

Players have discovered a chimney over at Flush Factory with a parachute draped upon it. The ‘chute has the same logo on it as the A.I.M skin, and theories have sprouted across the web with high regard that the character used the parachute to land on the Fortnite map.

Data miners have uncovered that the item name for the parachute is “Robo_Chute” which seems fitting that the parachute was used by the A.I.M robot character so it holds the popular theory. But then again, there’s no actual solid evidence of whether or not Epic Games just placed it there or if an actual in-game event took place. Player reports state that noises every half hour were heard that sounded like an incoming plane from the skies.

A tweet on Twitter by a player named VSuntzu14 captured this plane sound effect, and players pointed out that it sounds very similar to the leaked V6.22 files. You can hear the mysterious sound effect here:

Note that all the of files were bundled in the same directory called “vehicles” so it could just be a plane that they plan to add later on. Possibly a new Fortnite vehicle rather than the A.I.M story. Epic has said nothing about this and posted no new updates, so we’ll just have to wait until an official word comes out of the horse’s mouth.

Stay tuned for updates (as always).

Fortnite’s new customization options coming in future patch (leaked)

Fortnite's new customization options coming in future patch (leaked) 4

Some genius data miners at FNBRLeaks have discovered that Epic Games could soon be adding a new set of options to customize the Playground mode in Fortnite.

They found some info in various game files that direct suspicion to new customization options for players in the near future. Epic is looking to add custom loot rates, modifiers to move speed, damage options, and more.

A list of all customization options that’ll be released in a future Fortnite patch (Via DualShockers);

  • Friendly Fire
  • Glider Redeploy
  • Loot Levels
    • Scarce Loot
    • Regular Loot
    • Lots of Loot
  • Movement Speed Multiplier
  • Damage Multiplier
    • Half Damage
    • Regular Damage
    • Double Damage

Epic Games had already made many changes to the Playground LTM in the V6.01 update. Some changes to Fortnite in this new patch included  a series a seven customization options which allow players to change settings like starting HP, shield HP, fall damage, gravity settings, and even the time of day.

These options were added recently to the game, but the leaked options don’t have a confirmed release date yet- so we don’t know which patch they’ll eventually show up in. Stay tuned for updates.

Overwatch “Spider Windowmaker” skin leaked

Overwatch "Spider Windowmaker" skin leaked 5

Overwatch’s Windowmaker has a new Halloween skin. And it’s something that you’d feel like should’ve been implemented a long, long time ago.

It looks very similar to her default skin, but it has some spider webbing leggings and some darker, ominous colors over her outfit and rifle. Her skin is a delicious, yet deadly combination of purple, black, and various shades of silver entangled into a web of chaos. The skin really does fit her name.

The skin was leaked on a video posted to the Xbox Facebook page before any official word from Blizzard’s account was posted. The skin has been dubbed the Spider Widowmaker. No word on whether the skin will be Legendary or just Epic so far, but the buzzing community has debated that it’ll likely be available in the Hero Gallery as a mere Epic.

Overwatch’s Halloween Terror event begins on October 9th until the end of the month. Leaks have been revealed for a few Heros, such as Doomfist, Moira, and the now-unveiled Windowmaker.

Harry Potter action RPG leaked; Game details and trailer

Harry Potter action RPG leaked; Game details and trailer 8

A Harry Potter action RPG game has been rumored and news has been surfacing the web today. Harry Potter hasn’t made any headlines lately, but he’s back in an online video game that’s been leaked and the gameplay sounds pretty awesome with all the rumors surrounding so far. But then again, it’s all rumors and speculation at this point. The game could just be a cheap phone game for all we know.

The leak was posted on Reddit earlier today with some basic details that the upcoming game is an ARPG (action RPG) set in the 19th century and will allow you to create your own character with unique abilities. The plot is something along the lines of being accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, but a late acceptance. From there, you carve your own adventure.

Here’s the post from the original Reddit thread:

Set in the 19th Century (1800s) Wizarding World, this third-person open-world action RPG game centers around your character with unique abilities who has earned a late acceptance to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You are a newly arrived fifth-year student to Hogwarts that demonstrates a latent gift for magic with a unique ability to track and identify remnants of a pottant ancient power.

Upon arrival, strange events begin to materialize In the Forbidden Forrest and trouble begins to brew within the castle walls. Together with Professor Elezar Fig, you embark on a journey through both familiar and never before seen locations to bring to light the truth behind these mysterious occurrences.

On your quest you will craft potions, master new spells, and discover fantastical beasts, you will battle Dark Wizards, Goblins, and other supernatural enemies and uncover the truth about your destiny. The Fate of the Wizarding World lies in your hands.

And here are some key features from the game from the same post:

  • Journey to Hogwarts to become one of 8 different Wizard types.
  • Experience Hogwarts, make new friends, uncover new secrets, and change the fate of the Wizarding World.
  • Experience a new magic system that creates countless possibilities to master magic.
  • Freely explore the Wizarding World for the first time.
  • Choose your house and friends at Hogwarts, and decide to pursue a path of good or evil.
  • Create your own witch or wizard, and experience an all-new story separate from the books or films.

From this, we can assume it’s going to have online capabilities from the “make new friends” feature, unless they mean specifically through NPCs.

Warner Bros. Interactive was seeking senior writers back in 2017 for Avalanche Software with  “with a deep understanding of British culture and grammatical presentation,” which could mean that the Disney Infinity developer could be responsible for this game. Another theory is that this is being developed by RockSteady. Awesome online ARPG or cheap phone game? Who knows.

Here’s a video going around talking about the development of the game and some base concept footage:

Microsoft’s “Surface Phone” Andromeda Will Have Dual Screens and Hinge

Microsoft's "Surface Phone" Andromeda Will Have Dual Screens and Hinge 9

Recent patent filings and leaked timelines from Microsoft have surfaced and it seems like they’re working on a new dual-screen phone with the codename Andromeda. APIs on the W10 preview provide some more evidence and clues to what it can do. The new “Surface Phone” will likely have two screens and be the first mass-produced phone of its kind.

WalkingCat, a Twitter user, found an API for devices that support dual screens and a hinge. Applications can check the positions of the hinge and the screens- it can be concave, convex, flat, full, or simply shut. This suggests that it’ll be a full 360-degree hinge similar to convertible laptops like the Lenovo Yoga. It’ll likely have various functions depending on the positions.

However, rumors have it that the software giant wants to have a phone similar to the Surface Pro with a brand-new form factor just the like the laptop. Andromeda’s form factor is expected to be like a smartphone with the same form factor as the Surface but on a smaller level.

Whether or not the form factor rumors are true with its hinge and dual screens, they still need to create something that’ll garner attention from the public enough o buy it. What’s the point of having two screens if you have no applications being developed for it?

Apple rumored to be ditching physical buttons on the Apple Watch

Apple rumored to be ditching physical buttons on the Apple Watch 10

FastCompany released a report today saying that Apple will release a future version of the Apple Watch that’ll have touch-sensitive buttons instead of clickable ones.

This applies to both the crown and traditional single button watches that currently show the apps recently used. However, the button configuration won’t change. They’ll stay the same and the user will be able to touch each one and the watch will provide haptic feedback.

A similar change was made to the iPhone 7, which was filed with mixed reactions. MacBook trackpads did the same thing with localized feedback.

It’s also said that the change will be made to free up space in the device for other parts. This could also help with water resistance also as Apple is rumored to be working on a new biometric sensor to the buttons. This shouldn’t be surprising given their history of ditching buttons when possible.

The next Apple Watch is due for release this Septemeber. If this feature isn’t implemented yet, it’ll likely be next year’s model instead.

Hitman 2 being developed by Warner Bros. leaked pre-E3

Hitman 2 being developed by Warner Bros. leaked pre-E3 11

Another game was leaked before E3 on the 4th of June.0506

It was Hitman 2. And it had a logo on Warner Bros. Interactive’s page. Since then, it’s been removed. It’s unknown if the title is just a remake or a related game to the Hitman 2: Silent Assassin game which was released back in 2002. It’s likely season two of Hitman which got a retail release with Warner Bros. this year and started releases back in 2016.

IO-Interactive is the developer which was originally a part of Square Enix before they were sold off. It got to keep the rights to the series which they’ve held onto since 2000. CEO Hakan Abrack confirmed a new entry is being developed back in late 2017, so this is probably the game he was talking about.

The official Hitman and WB Games Twitter account have also been teasing a new game. It hinted at a return of Agent 47 stating that news was coming on June 7th, and it pointed out that a game reveals referencing their pre-E3 announcement. The teaser showed off a racecar with the Hamsun brand. Hitman gamers will know that this is a makeshift oil company in season 1 of the of the original episodic Hitman title released by Square Enix.

Since 2000, the series has spanned six games and is a popular title for its stealth action gameplay. The latest title was released in 2016 and was praised for its movie-like content, but still received a mixed reception. IO-Interactive is likely to continue with the episodic content strategy as they’ve been working on it during their sale from Square Enix.

XCOM 2 getting new content pack?

XCOM 2 getting new content pack? 12

XCOM 2 is rumored t be getting a new expansion called “TLE” and is currently set to be released soon speculates ResetEra.

There’s a thread on Reddit which has an image showing off “XCOM 2 – TLE” and “TLE CONTENT” both of which are further backed by a recent change made to the game on Steam DB and a specific build going to QA. This hints that the game is getting some final touches before going public.

The War of the Chosen expansion for XCOM 2 was shown off during last year’s PC Gaming Show at E3 and had a ton of new content for players. But then, the game has gone into a dormant state. This E, we just may hear some more news about the game and get some deja vu.

Right now, there’s no other confirmation of anything. E3 is almost here, so XCOM 2 may roll out some content- or at least announce it soon.

New “open-world” Star Wars game in the works based on a job posting

New Star Wars game in the works. Perhaps an MMORPG?

EA is working a new open-world Star Wars game based on a job listing posting for their studio in Vancouver.

The job position first appeared on March 20th, 2018 and is looking for a “Lead Online Engineer” that fulfills the task of leading a “team to delivery Online features for a Star Wars Open World project. To keep this discreet, no other details about the game were given. EA probably already knows that the only people looking at their job boards are probably fans of their games. It’s likely that someone will see this post and then post it elsewhere which will leak that a new Star Wars franchise underway. However, they’re mum about the details of the game.

EA also has not commented on the news as well.

Based on their previous titles, it’s only lukewarm in terms of what to expect. If they learned anything over the Battlefront II conversely about loot crates and microtransactions, they should not make the same mistake this time around. After they pulled the microtransactions and introduced their new level progression system, the fans released some of the bitter feelings toward their greed. The new progression system only allows players to win by experience and not wallet size.

This could be anything from an AAA MMORPG to just a mobile game. Who knows?

Regardless, this is an interesting move to put out another Star Wars title so soon. We’ll keep you updated.

Target leaks details for the new Spyro game – it’s called “Spyro Treasure Trilogy”

New Spyro is confirmed to be called Spyro Treasure Trilogy by Target.

Target has accidentally leaked some details about the new Spyro Treasure Trilogy game by answering a question about pre-orders.

A user asked target when the “new Spyro be ready for preorder” and responded that they “don’t currently have any information about when this game will be available for pre-order.” This confirms that the game is indeed coming out and the name of the game.

Spryo Treasure Trilogy is a remaster of the Spyro games. It was planned to be announced sometime in March, but no date was confirmed other than Q3 in 2018. It would be an exclusive PlayStation game as well. Activision also stated that they plan on releasing more remastered versions of classic games, like Crash Bandicoot recently.

Spyro originally came out as a PlayStation platform mascot with Crash Bandicoot. The first game was released in 1998 and was a 3D platformer where you’d explore huge worlds with lots of shiny objects to collect. Later on, many other titles followed Spryo 2: Ripto’s Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon in 1999 and 2000.

Recently, the name has only been used in the Skylanders series, but it doesn’t seem like it’s taking off. Perhaps this remaster will bring it back like Crash Bandicoot’s N-Sane Trilogy. We’ll have to wait and see for little purple dragon friend’s arrival. Sit tight, Spyro fans.

LEGO The Incredibles 2 and LEGO DC Villains coming out in 2018 by TT Games

LEGO The Incredibles 2 and LEGO DC Villains coming out in 2018 by TT Games 13

The Incredibles 2 is coming out later this year in theaters, and there’s new that a game will also come out with it.

There was an ad on the back of an instructor manual for a LEGO Juniors Incredibles 2 set that has yet to be released. In the ad, it shows the promo image with LEGO versions of the family and has a 2018 release date. The giveaway is the platforms- PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch. And the “LEGO GAMES” logo as well. It’s pretty obvious that we’ll be getting another LEGO game.

The game was leaked back in January and Eurogamer reported that other Pixar properties will be released as well. A LEGO DC Villains game was also leaked at the same time as this game, with stating that the game would feature characters like Lex Luthor, Joker, and Harley Quinn. TT Games usually roll out two games a year, so both of these games are probably the two titles for this year.

This is the first time that a property owned by Pixar has gotten its own game. Since this is the second movie, it’s likely that the game will take place between both Incredibles movies. Disney doesn’t develop their games in-house anymore and other studios do it for them, like TT Games for this situation. They’ve already worked on other LEGO games like LEGO Marvel Superheroes and LEGO The Force Awakens.

Stay tuned for more details.
